Located on the 2nd floor of Hong Lim Food Centre, behind Chinatown Point. There is a Ipoh Hor Fun stall at the end of a left hand corner known as Tuck Kee (Ipoh) Sah Ho Fun (#02-41A). The stall offers a range of combination ingredients from cooked shredded chicken, prawn to crayfish and abalone to go with the Ipoh Hor Fun and it is always packed with lunch crowds during weekday lunch hours.
So if you have some craving for Ipoh Hor Fun, do drop by one of these day to Hong Lim Food Centre before or after the lunch crowds hours to avoid long waiting time. But if you are there to try their crayfish then you have to go before 2pm or else you might not be able to get hold of it because it always SOLD OUT pretty fast during lunchtime.
Since I am working just two streets across the area, I always patronise this stall with my colleague at least twice a month. And today I decided to bring my family to try their signature dish for our weekend lunch but because we were quite late they only left the "Prawn and Abalone Mushroom Hor Fun" which is just as nice as the Crayfish set.
To me all their Hor Fun sets actually taste the same because they are all topped with the same unique gravy so the only differences are the the topping ingredients; which you can choose from seafood, chicken or mushroom. Oh ya if you like prawn dumpling soup do remember to order a bowl to go with your hor fun too.

Since I cannot get hold of the Crayfish Hor Fun during my last visit, I did some updates to this post after asking my colleague to have lunch on this a few days back. We order the small plate of Crayfish & Prawn Hor Fun which costs S$5.00 (the price has increase a few times since my 1st visit in 2007 which is at S$4.00 and now it had went up to SG$6.00 in 2014.) and it comes with 1 Crayfish (halved), 3 medium prawns (halved) and some freshly blanched choy sum that served together with their thin flat rice noodles (hor fun). With their special "Hor Fun Gravy" it makes each mouthful simply irresistible.
