Recently due to the new Angry Birds movie it seems to bring back memories for those who love its related mobile game on those battles between the birds and green pigs. And with that fast food chain restaurants in Singapore are selling Red Angry Birds Burgers and Spicy Nuggets in conjunction of the movie too.

As for me in order to surprise my boy who is one of the Angry Birds fans, I made him these cute Angry Birds Rice Burgers together with some related design fruit cutouts as a reward for his good performance in mid-year school exam.

It has being a long time since my last food art on cartoon characters because the boy has passed that "cute food" stages where I used to make his food look appealing (bento ideas). When flash back I do missed those fun days where we both work together to make bentos and he will help to prepare the ingredients as well as assembling the dish.

Rainbow Pancake Vs Geen Pig Pancake

I guess most of us love eye appealing food despite whether you are an Adult or kid. As a mum of one, I hardly used food gel/colouring in our food but in order to achieve the eye catching colours for this Rainbow Pancake I have to use tiny bits of it for the effect. And to obtain the vibrant colours, you could mix your food colouring with some water before adding to your favourite pancake mix, in this way it could prevent over mixed of the pancake mixture and leaving you with nice and fluffy pancakes.

Last Saturday, our family went for our very first Halloween Party at Port Of Lost Wonder where it was transformed into an Angry Birds themed Halloween playground featuring the iconic characters from one of the world’s most popular mobile games. [My 1st Kids' Workshop] Pizza Toast plus Red Angry Bird Bento

Yesterday we have a fun-filled day with all the wonderful kids and their parents who attended our very 1st Kids' Pizza and Bento Workshop. This workshop has being in my wishing list for so long because I always hope to be able to conduct a hands-on workshop for kids and their parents. For me I think hands-on workshop are a great way to show bonding between parents and their kids as most of the kids enjoy the time where mummy or daddy will be able to hold their hands and work together to complete an assigned task. And during the workshop I am so happy to see some heart-warming bonding time between parents and their kids.
