[Bedrock Bar And Grill] ONE-FOR-ONE DEAL with Entertainer App

While searching for a good weekend dining deal from Hungry Go Where (HGW), I managed to find a great saving offer from the new Entertainer App (shown below) recommended through them. And with this paperless interface application that provides great saving deals, we had an enjoyable dinner at Bedrock Bar and Grill last Saturday.

[Bedrock Bar And Grill] They have a huge collections of wine in the restaurant 

Bedrock Bar and Grill is located at level 1 of Pan Pacific Serviced Suites beside Oriole Cafe and along the walkway towards 313 Somerset. The restaurant is divided into two areas such as Bar and Dinning featuring warm light, wooden walls and tables furnishing. In the dining area, there is an open kitchen where you can see the chefs making flat bread, touch-up the dishes and etc before serving it to the guests.

Besides that, there are also a few full length wooden cupboards that stores wine, liquor and etc too.

While waiting for the food, we tried some Non-Alcoholic Cocktails (beverage menu here) recommended by one of their friendly serving staffs.  I love the refreshing taste of the Long Boat (SG$7.00++) which is made from the combination of lime cordial and their in-house ginger beer. It's smoothing and yet with hint of ginger after taste in it.

As a first timer there, we get to know Bedrock offers complimentary in-house Flat Bread which is freshly made at their open kitchen where diners can even view its making process from their seats. These soft and fluffy bread are served together with salted butter and roasted garlic in olive oil which was quite similar to garlic bread concept.

Friendly speaking at first I was quite worried with the “taste” of the roasted garlic when the serving staffs encourage us to spread a clove or two on the bread together with the butter. But surprisingly when eaten it does not have that strong odour instead it has a mild sweet taste that goes well with the butter spread or you can even eat it on its own without the bread too.

Casar Salad (SG$20++) comes with generous amount of fresh baby cos, coated egg instead of the usual poached egg / soft boiled egg; together with bacon, shaved Gruyere and some crispy thin slices of bread. The dressing sauce was pretty good but we still prefer soft boiled egg rather than coated egg which was a bit too cooked.

[Bedrock Bar And Grill] US Dry Aged Ribeye with Wholegrain Whiskey Mustard Sauce

And with the Entertainer; One-For-One Deal we took the opportunity to try out their premium grill on US Dry Aged Ribeye (SG$96++) which is a great saving for steak lover. This 300g Ribeye (medium done) has a stronger taste and flavour when compared to the Australian Ribeye shown below.

Instead of taking both US Dry Aged Ribeye for our deal, I decided to go for the Australian Grass-Fed Ribeye (SG$86++) which was well sealed on "medium well" and much juicer than the dry aged because we could feel the juice bursting in our mouth.

My accompany sauce is Chimichurri which from minced garlic, coriander, chilli, olive oil and etc. Although the taste is quite unique but I still prefer the Whiskey Mustard. For your information Bedrock offers 5 different types of sauces such as:-

• Red Wine Sauce
• Bedrock Chilli Oil
• Chimichurri
• Classic Bearnaise 
• Wholegrain Whiskey Mustard

  to go with their grill pricing at SG$4++ each.

Dessert for that night was killer as we really love their Apple Crumbles for 2 (SG$22++). The oven baked apples slices were coated with a layer of cinnamon sauce that was just right in taste. And the crispy walnut streusel pairs well with the “huge” scoop of vanilla ice cream making the whole combination simply so irresistible.

The Entertainer App provide a new paperless redemption experience on dining, leisure, wellness, entertainment or hotel accommodation on their "Buy One Get One Free" offers. On top of that, this App also offers amazing savings which is easy to use and it's valid for 7 days a week too.

To start with, download "The Entertainer" app from your mobile phone (available on iPhone, Android and Blackberry) shown above.

For new user, register an account with The Entertainer as member to obtain your "4-digits" pin (one time pin) in order to redeem the Buy One Get One Free offers.

Upon registration, you can start browsing through the offers under the "My Entertainer Offers" tab to pick your choice. For our case, we select "Bedrock Bar And Grill" where I made a call for reservation and informing them on the use of The Entertainer, One-For-One Main Course redemption.

When it comes to bill payment, select the offer(s) which you choose under the "My Entertainer Offers" tab. For this case, we selected "Bedrock Bar And Grill" to redeem our complimentary Main Course from a Main Course purchased.

Upon selection the "Redeem" box will appears. Just press Redeem to proceed to the next option.

To complete the redemption, both you (as diner) and the retailer (restaurant staff) have to enter a "4-digits" customer pin in order to have a successful redemption shown above.

After which the Entertainer App will prompt you an estimated "saving amount" for your reference plus the code of the "Entertainer voucher" will also be reflected on your bill too. So isn't this a cool app with user friendly and paperless interface that provides great savings in just a few touch of buttons.
