New McDonald's Wholegrain Muffins + McDonald's Surprise Alarm + Giveaways(CLOSED)

With the launched of the new "Wholegrain Muffins" you can now swop out to this new choice at no additional costs when you order your favourite McMuffin items for breakfast. And for your info these wholegrain muffins are each made with eight grams of whole grains, providing about half a recommended serving of whole grains making it convenience for you to include wholegrain in your daily meal intake.

So to try out this new item, I bought a set of the McChicken Muffin Extra Value Meal for breakfast. And instead of the usual muffin, wholegrain muffin is being used to sandwiched the crispy chicken patty, slice cheese and creamy mayonnaise together. Although some of us might not taste any differences between the two types of muffins (plain/wholegrain) used but at least I think it is a great choice to swap for a healthier grains and eating lifestyle. 

*The Health Promotion Board recommends 2-3 servings of whole grains per day.

Other than the wholegrain muffins which I shared above, here another new mobile app (SINGAPORE ONLY) which my bestie introduce to me recently. This app is known as "McDonald's® Surprise Alarm" which can be download from either iPhone (App Store) or Android phone.

How It Works: Basically after downloading the app, you have to sign up an account or link your app to your existing Facebook Account in order to collect (save) your daily surprise items in the "surprise wallet" shown above.

After which you need to set your daily alarm in order to receive the surprises too!

Above are some of the "freebies" which we have redeemed and they have items like: Hashbrown, Mc griddles, Mc Muffins, Fries, 6 Pieces Nuggets, Coke and etc depending on what your received daily in your surprise wallet.
