Green Tea N Coffee Cheese Bar

Made this on Wednesday night and the methods are similar to making normal cheesecake. Just that a few ingredients are omitted. In this recipes you will need Cream Cheese, Biscuit Base, Milk and some Gelatin Powder. The taste of Green Tea favour cheesecake is pretty unique. If you have a chance to taste it...you will know what I meant. Or maybe if you have tried the Green Tea cake from BREAD TALK then you roughly get the idea of the taste. Most of them said that the coffee cheesecake taste better compare to the special taste of the Green Tea. Posted by Hello

Tiramisu.....

Wow... Finally got the time to make my Tiramisu after gathering all the necessary ingredients. It's actually rather easy to make this Italian Famous Dessert. Tiramisu do come with a few versions of recipe such as:

1. With or without raw egg yolks
2. Use of Thicken Cream
3. Use of Sponge Fingers, Lady Fingers or Homemade Sponge Cake

But no matter what kind of recipe you are using, the main ingredient must included Kahlua liqueur and Macarpone Cream. Posted by Hello

American Chocolate Cake

Yesterday Morning finally got the time to try on this very tempting Chocolate recipe. It's call the American Chocolate Cake, maybe due to the Chocolate Ganache Cream the texture of the cake is sort of similar to MUD CAKE. But overall it still taste very Indulging. Maybe you can give it a try as it very easy to make..... Thanks for the recipe from one of the Mummy from Mum's Website.



Ingredients for Cake:
125g Butter
175g Brown Sugar
½ Teaspoon Vanilla essence
2 Eggs
35g Cocoa Powder
130ml Warm Water
140g Self-Raising Flour

Ingredients for Chocolate Ganache:
100ml Dairy Whipping Cream
125g Dark Chocolate

Methods on Cake:
1. Mix in cocoa powder and water. Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
2. Add in eggs, one at a time. Add in vanilla essence, beating well after each addition until well combine.
3. Then add in a bit of cocoa mixture and flour slowly until finish.
4. Spoon batter into a 10”X14”X1” cake tin. Bake in preheated oven at 180degree for 15-20 minutes.

Methods for Chocolate Ganache:
1. Heat dairy whipping cream until it comes to just under the boil, off the fire and adds in dark chocolate, mix well.
2. Slit cake into 3 layers. Spread ganache over first layer, cover with another layer. Repeat twice. Cover the top with ganache. Posted by Hello

Steam Egg White Rainbow Cake



Got this recipe from one of the mum's Zur(click on link for her recipe) in the M4M website. It's a very interesting cake with colourful layers that definitely caught everyone's attention of wanting to give it a bite. It taste very soft and good texture for a steam cake. It can be consider as s health snack because the main ingredients are Egg White with a bit of sugar so it doesn't taste very sweet or rather oily. Overall it took about 1/2 hrs to prepare the cake and 30 minutes to steam. Posted by Hello

Peach Marshmallow Cake

Today I suddenly got the mood to make this Peach Marshmallow Cake. Saw this recipe from Mum's website and is pretty easy to make because it does not require any baking. Just need to boil the Marshmallow and Jelly Layer then Freeze in the fridge to let it set.


My 1st attempt today was not very successful because some of the Jelly Layer had sunk into the Marshmallow Layer. Maybe is because I did not wait long enough for the Marshmallow Layer to be harden before I pour in the Jelly mixture. But overall it really taste nice and special as it taste sort of chewy but not... very hard to describe. Maybe you can give it a try.

Ingredient For Base:
200g Macvitie's Original Digestive Biscuits
80g Melted Butter

Methods:
1. Crushed digestive biscuits in a ziplock bag and mix well with melted butter and press into a 8" or 9" square or round Springform cake tin..(or u can use those disposable aluminium cake tin from cold storage)
2. Arrange some cube peach slices on the biscuit base and refrigerate for later use.

Ingredients for Marshmallow Filling:
250g Marshmallow(Get from NTUC)
150ml Fresh Milk
300ml Whip Cream
2 Teaspoons Of Gelatine Powder

Methods:
1. Put all the ingredients into a pot and boil over low heat until all marshmallow are dissolved.

Ingredients for Jelly Topping:
1 Packet of Raspberry Jelly
400ml of water
2 Teaspoons of Gelatine Powder

Methods:
1. Boil all ingredients until well dissolved.

Methods On Assembling the Cake:
1. Pour Marshmallow filling into the prepared baking tin with biscuit base.
2. Put in the freeze until slightly harden but not totally frozen roughly about 20 mins.
3. Take it out and arrange sliced fresh peaches. Put it back to freezer to harden a little about 30 mins.
4. When slightly harden take it out and pour the slightly cool jelly on it. Put in fridge to chilled for about 2hrs. Cut into small pices to serve.

Notes:
The jelly mixture must be cool until luke warm if it is still hot, when you pour into the marshmallow it will sink to the bottom then your cake will not be presentable.
You can use any type of fruits and jelly as your preference. Posted by Hello
