[Cornell Hello Kitty Pop-Up Toaster] Hello Kitty Brunch |
So with the long Easter Weekend instead of bunny brunch we decided to have Hello Kitty Brunch whereby I could test out the lovely toaster.
Hello Kitty Pop-Up Toaster |
Tips:
~ To get a visible Hello Kitty Print, I would recommend you to adjust the setting to 3 for the first try and remember to position the bread in the center of the toast where you can see the hello kitty stencils.

HELLO KITTY BRUNCH

(Yield: 1 serving | Preparation: 10 minutes | Cooking: 10 minutes)
Ingredients:
2 Slices of Wholemeal Sandwich Bread
2 Slice of Sandwich Cheese 1 Slice of Ham
2 Egg
2 Tablespoon Fresh Milk
5 Shittake/Button Mushrooms, quartered
Some Salad Greens
A Few Cherry Tomato
A Few Strawberry
Some Pepper and Salt
Method:
Step-by-step on how to toast the bread
1. Toast your sandwich bread in the Hello Kitty Pop-up Toaster on heat setting 3 while working with the rest of the ingredients.
2. Using a small frying pan, lightly pan-fry the ham on both side for 20 seconds remove and set aside.
Step-by-step on preparing the ham, eggs and mushrooms.
3. With the same pan preheat 1 tablespoon of oil before cracking in one of the egg. Next using a small spoon to carefully spoon the hot oil over the whites area to cook it gently for a minute or so before spooning the oil over the yolks to help them set on the surface.
4. Remove the sunny-side-up egg on plate; use a hello kitty cookie cutter or free hand (with knife) cut-out a kitty head shape from the egg then set aside.
5. To prepare the scrambled egg: Beat the egg lightly then add in milk and pinch of salt and pepper then continue to whisk it till bubbled and airy. Preheat frying pan with 1 teaspoon of butter, add in beaten egg, don't stir and let mixture cook for up to a minute or until the bottom begins to set.
6. Turn off the heat and continue gently stirring and turning the egg until all the uncooked parts become firm. Remove and shape it with a Hello Kitty cookie cutter and decorate it accordingly using strawberry.
7. Assemble the sandwich by placing a slice of cheese on the bottom slice of bread, top with some salad green, follow by ham, another slice of cheese and the top slice of bread.
8. Enjoy your Hello Kitty Brunch together with some extra berries, cherry tomato or salad greens to go with lovely sandwich. And if you prefer you could also add the mushroom inside the sandwich too.
Above is a short clip on using the Hello Kitty Pop-Up Toaster.
Alternatively you could prepare a simple Hello Kitty print toast, spread it with your favourite fruit jam, butter, nutella or etc. Pack it in a nice lunch box together with some extra fruits or cherry tomato for your kid's tea break or as your own breakfast treat.

ReplyDeleteHi Sannee,
DeleteThanks for your comment. Yes. just ONE supporting photo for your comment will do. Meaning max 2 draw chances per participant :)
I can't believe how commercialized you are now. Your blog is full of ads, food reviews, product reviews, overseas trips and giveaways getting people to 'like your' FB page. I've been a follower of your blog since 2005 or so and you were really down to earth then, concentrating on cooking for your family, introducing homely ingredients. Unlike now, where I don't even know whether your reviews are genuine or paid. As much as I hate to, I will stop following your blog from now on. Truly disappointed.
ReplyDeleteHi Ellena, just wondering if the winner has been announced yet? Thank you
