[Singapore Blog Awards 2011] Rally Post!

As usually every year during voting and rally period for the Singapore Blog Awards we would have to either record a 2 minutes video or a blog post to thanks our supporters and etc. For me as being the lucky winner for 2009, Best Food Blog Award, it actually widen out my blogging life in different aspects. And also from there I get to know more friends that share same interest such as "cooking, baking, food hunting and photo shots". On top of that, there are also some very supportive blog readers whom often exchange cooking/baking tips with me via blog comments/facebook page. With all these bits and pieces I would like to say "Thank you" to each and everyone of you who gives me your supports and friendships throughout all these years. Without all your kind comments, feedback and support, Cuisine Paradise will not have gone so far with all its' achievements today. Time flies, this is the 3rd year "Cuisine Paradise" being shortlisted in the Top 10 Finalists of the Singapore Blog Awards category under - "Best Food Blog" host by "OMY.sg". This year we have 10 fabulous food blogs from different categories(written in English and Chinese) with good contents of information from "tested and tried recipes", "local and overseas food reviews", latest food trend, mouth drooling food photographs and etc where you can take a look at all the finalists from their blog URL HERE)

2010 Singapore Blog Awards - Best Food Blog

Dear Readers,

I am so excited to share with you that this is the 2nd year my blog "Cuisine Paradise" has been shortlisted (out of more than 1000 other blogs) to be one of the 10 Finalists for the category under Singapore Blog Awards - Best Food Blog. Voting is open to public from 24 May 2010 till 30 June 2010. You can vote only ONCE for each category per day.

Just like previous year, if you like my blogs and recipes please help to cast your valuable votes for me, ok :) But proceeding, , you need to register an account as a member with the blog award organiser (OMY.sg) if you are not a member yet. So if it is not troublesome for you to help, please follow the steps below for your voting:-


Steps for voting my blog:-

1. Register as a member of OMY if you are not a member. You can find the online registration form here (click here to register). For overseas voter you can use your passport number for the "Nric/Fin" option.

2. Upon successful registration as a memeber, login onto the Singapore Blog Awards Category link @ http://sgblogawards.omy.sg/category/ where you will be directed to the Voting Page .

3. On the left side of the screen, you will see something similar to the photo shown belown, click on the Best Food Blog(最佳饮食部落格) category to display all the 10 finalists so as to cast your votes.



4. You will see a PINK label "VOTE" on the bottom right corner of my avatar . To cast your votes, you need to click on the word "VOTE" instead of the picture which will be re-direct you back onto my foodblog URL.

5. You will see this yellow confirmation box for you to verified your voting. Click on the word "Confirm" and upon successful voting, you will see a Yellow label showing "VOTED" on my avatar.

Singapore Blog Awards - Best Food Blog

16 September 2009 is the date where most of the Singapore Blog Award finalists look forward to. Our family are so happy to be invited to attend the OMY Singapore Blog Award Ceremony that is held at Supperclub at Odeon Tower. We were so excited to see so many blogger from different nominated categories as well as some other guest blogger. You can take a look at the full-list of winner for each category HERE.

Upon registered at the entrance of the event hall, each of the nominee or blogger who attend will be given a door-gift from "Fabrix" which is a - camera case. These cases come in a few colour and designs and Rey request this design from the counter. These cases are also of quality material that comes with extra slot for memory cards too.

Before the Guest-of-Honour, Foreign Minister George Yeo arrive, blogger and nominees were chatting around with each other and helping themself with some light refreshing and drink. They are also some performances by award-winning local Chinese instrumentalist group, The Teng Company, as well as singer Chen Diya.

I managed to grab a photo of this Salmon Pasta that served in a mini Chinese take-away box, which look more presentable and edible compare to the rest of the snacks like over-cooked fries, not so appetising looking pizza and etc. There is another deep-fry beef balls which look crispy and nice on the outside but....errrr.... cannot make it when you pop into your mouth :)

All blogger and guests who attend the ceremony will bring home a set of this goodie bag which consists of 1 omy logo recycle-bag, a T-shirt, some instant noodles by KOKA, torch light and note pad and some vourchers.

Tata... so dear friends and readers with all your support, nomination and voting.... Cuisine Paradise managed to win the BEST FOOD BLOG award for 2009 :) Thank you for all your supports...... I am really speechless when I saw my blog and name being shown on the big screen while revealing the Food Blog result.

You see... all winner walks home with all these different flavour of Instant Noodles by KOKA. Whatever flavour you name, you have it... Pepper Crab, Spicy Black Pepper, Spicy Marinara Beef Pho, Chicken Abalone, Laksa...etc... wow... don't know what to do with all these noodles.. maybe can come up new DISHES with them.. :p

Other than the above, winner also have a movie premium hamper from United International Pictures. It consists of CDs, books, posters and USB port mouse pad and etc....

And.. to my surprised, my blog actually got into the top 5 most voted blog category which enable me to win a set of this HTC Diamond, touch screen hand phone. This extra gift is given to me by those who voted my blog during the 7 weeks voting period. I thank everyone for all your support and time and with all your daily votes and also Jocey Yeong who nominated my blog for selection. With all these Cuisine Paradise is able to have such a great spark in blogging life....... Thank you.
