[recipes + videos] Homemade Roast Pork Belly & Wanton Noodle

Compared to char siew (BBQ pork) our family preferred roast pork belly which has a crisp top and savory tender meat. Frankly speaking all along I have never thought of making my own roast pork because in Singapore it can be easily bought from roast meat stores. But recently I was inspired by one of my bestie to make them at home after realizing how easy the steps were.

In this article I am sharing my version made using air-fryer and how I pair it with noodle to make a hearty meal.

Rosemary Chicken with Sweet Potato Fries plus Chocolate Cherry Pound Cake
Whipping up healthier meals by reducing (or omit) the amount of salt, sugar and oil intake makes it a better diet for everyone in the family. And being the main cook for the family I always try my best to prepare their favourite food with a twist to safeguard our body functions. Example, using coconut or olive oil for in our dish or bake; incorporate more fibres, greens, proteins and fresh fruits in our daily diet plus always source for "fresh ingredients" to prepare our meals.

[Recipe] Gula Melaka Banana Cake With Walnuts

Our family loves "banana" cake except me. But about two weeks ago, when I saw Maryann (@tubbykat) Gula Melaka Banana Bread's photo on Instagram (here) I know immediately I am sold for this combination because of my favourite "Gula Melaka" which is one of the key ingredients for this recipe. With that added it definitely enhance the taste and aroma of the cake which makes them similar smells rather like caramel popcorn.
