Brasserie Les Saveurs @ The St Regis, Singapore

A few weeks back I was invited by ShiTing (lobsterpaints.com) to join her for a media lunch at Brasserie Les Saveurs which is a signature restaurant of  St Regis, Singapore. The restaurant has recently launched it's latest a la carte menu featuring contemporary French indulges specially hand crafted by Chef de Cuisine, Antonie Bonnet.

Grilled Orange Rosemary Pork Chop

Hello peeps! It's Monday again and I hope you won't be having any "blues" today. For the start of the week, I am sure something quick and easy to prepare for dinner will be great. Here I have a "one pan" dish recipe to share with you which I get the inspiration from Irene (moonberry.com) who is a beautiful and capable modern woman. Do check up her blog for tips in beauty, travel and food reviews too.

GRILLED ORANGE ROSEMARY PORK CHOP

This is a pretty straight forward recipe which don't required much chopping, cutting or slicing. All you need to do is to marinate the pork chop with a few ingredients like orange juice, rind, cider vinegar, honey and rosemary. Put them into a ziplock bag, pop into the fridge and off you go for your work, spa, shopping and etc.  When you are back, place them on grill or oven and cook till it is ready to be served.

Recipes Using D.O.M Benedictine (法国廊酒)

D.O.M Benedictine is a herbal liqueur beverage which is commonly consumed or used as an cooking ingredients by Asian woman who is on confinement during the 1st month of labor. But even on normal days this herbal liqueur can also act as a beneficial health beverage for members in the family too. In this post I am sharing two quick dishes using D.O.M which might come in handy for those who has a bottle of two idling at home.

Between don't worry about the "strong" liquor taste of D.O.M because after cooking most of the alcohol content will be evaporated leaving it with a mild "sweet" taste and fragrance gravy that is great for rice or just on it's own.
